About Bhimtal
Bhimtal is situated in Uttarakhand, India. It is a town in Nainital district. The most attractive part of Bhimtal is Bhimtal Lake; it has an island at its centre. The weather of this place is very pleasant in summer. The lake is very beautiful the main part of this lake is a very fascinating Iceland on which there is a beautiful large aquarium which was previously a restaurant. Bhimtal offers glorious scenic view and visual panorama of nature’s beauty. The old pedestrian road is still in use. This place gives a sense of touch of natural beauty and ancient scenario. There is an ancient temple of BHIMESHWAR MAHADEV on the banks of the lake which was built by Bhima during the period of deportation of the Pandavas. There is a place Sayad Baba Ki mazar where people from different places and near around places come for worship. It shows a very close example of unity in diversity.
